WonderCon 2014, Part One
This WonderCon, I didn’t get very many hallway shots, I actually spent most of my time running back and forth doing scheduled (and unscheduled) shoots. In hindsight, I totally overestimated how much time would be taken up just going around carrying all my gear from place to place and how many shoots I’d be able to do.
I also got the chance to shoot Vertvixen’s amazing armored Scarlet Witch. The detail on her cosplay was incredible, although I wish I’d been able to capture the lights better.
Still, I think I was able to manage pretty well, but next time I won’t try for so many shoots in one weekend!

Pacific Media Expo 2013
Since PMX took place the same weekend as BlizzCon, I was only able to attend on the last day Sunday. But I still managed to get shots of some really amazing cosplayers, and a good seat at the Fashion Show.
PMX took place at the Hilton near LAX, so the venue wasn’t very large and most people usually frequented the lobby where I got most of my pictures. There were a couple outdoor terraces where gatherings were held, but it took me a while to figure out how to get there and I missed them. Still, I’m enjoying the smaller scale cons and I’m looking forward to next year.
