My brother and I went down to Laguna Beach last weekend, more specifically Victoria Beach where the “Pirate Tower” is located. I hadn’t heard of it before, but it turned out to be a pretty nice looking location. My brother had tried to go down there before, but high tides made the area unreachable. This time we checked the schedule and headed down during low tide.
It was a good opportunity to take sunset pictures as well as trying out long exposure shots. My brother had bought an ND filter, and we both got to play with it to see the effect it would have on the waves and the sunlight.
I got some a few good shots, although I’d completely forgotten to turn on the long exposure noise reduction setting on my camera. Ended up doing it manually, which was a bit tricky.
